The City of Anaheim provides an array of programs and services to benefit the health and well being of citizen’s over the age of fifty. Active adult programs range from social and recreational activities to programs that help older adults maintain their independence as long as possible in a caring and supportive environment.

2-1-1 is a toll free phone number with an online database that connects people quickly and effectively to existing health and human service programs, joblessness support and disaster response information in Orange County, CA. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This new website serves as a one-stop-shop connecting Californians to programs and services for which they may be eligible. will highlight programs such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit (CTC), Golden State Advantage Cards, Lifeline Telephone Service, CARE for lower cost gas and electric, and California’s Low-Cost Auto Insurance. Resources and materials are available in both english and spanish.

The Council on Aging is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit
corporation, charged with serving older and
dependent adults and their families throughout
Orange County. The Council advocates for
the health, well-being, and legal rights
of adults needing or receiving services.
