Euclid & Sunkist Branch Renovations

Euclid and Sunkist Libraries are closed
for Renovations until Fall 2016

The Euclid and Sunkist Branch Libraries both opened on June 16, 1976. Known as our ‘twin’ branches, these two 10,000 square foot 'mirror image' branches were dedicated on the same day by Mayor W.J. Thom, who declared, "Double your money and double your fun, two branch libraries are more fun than one."  After nearly 40 years of service, the libraries were ready for some major improvements.

Both the Euclid and Sunkist branches have been closed for renovations since the beginning of the year. The libraries are undergoing major facelifts to make better use of the public space for current and future community needs, to enhance network connections, and to address ADA improvements, including new restrooms.

Construction is in the final stages, with grand openings anticipated for October. In the meantime, our Bookmobile continues offering limited services at Sunkist Branch:
