Help Anaheim be more resilient in the even of a disaster! Public Participation is encourage as part of the City's Hazard Mitigation Plan. Every five years, the City of Anaheim prepares a Hazard Mitigation Plan to identify all elements of the City that could be affected by a disaster such as an earthquake, wildfire or flood. Anaheim Fire & Rescue together with the City of Anaheim invites you to read the draft version of the 2015 Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies and assesses our community's risks for natural disasters and how to best minimize or manage those risks. This plan is a comprehensive review of the natural disasters that are most likely to occur in Anaheim and projects that the City can undertake to mitigate those risks. Once completed, a final draft will be forwarded to Anaheim City Council for adoption.
