The Police Review Board is Anaheim's new civilian oversight board for the city's police department.
The review board is a new, expanded version of the Public Safety Board, which launched in 2014 as a two-year pilot program for civilian police oversight in Anaheim.

The new review board will work closely with Anaheim's independent external auditor, OIR Group, which has served as the city's outside law enforcement expert since 2007.
The review board will work with OIR Group and the police on major incidents and provide a forum and process for community concerns and complaints.
The board also will provide data on policing and an annual report on its work.
We are seeking residents to serve on the review board. Board members are set to be seated and hold their first meeting in mid-2018.
Stay tuned for applications, we anticipate the application to be ready by the end of January 2018.
Members must be Anaheim residents selected from each of the City Council's six districts and one selected from the city at large.
