This new pilot program offers rebates to income-qualified customers who repair water leaks in and around their residences, including but not limited to, slab leaks, irrigation systems, and water faucet leaks. This program provides single-family customers with a water account a rebate of up to $250 for the repair of water leaks, including materials and labor.
How It Works
Anaheim Public Utilities customers must be at or below the 80% Orange County median level income or customers must be a current participant in an income-qualified program with Anaheim Public Utilities. Qualifying customers will be eligible for reimbursement. Customers can request rebates for multiple leak repairs at the same single-family residence, and a customer can file subsequent applications on future water leak repairs, subject to a total program cap of $250.

1. Complete Application in full and attach the following required documents
Copy of your most recent Anaheim Public Utility (APU) Water bill
Copies of all corresponding invoices, receipts, checks or other documents showing expenditures of leak repair
Documentation of leak - e.g. spike in water bill, report after inspection of leak by APU staff, or invoice documenting leak
