Time periods are defined as follows:
- On-Peak:
Summer weekdays, except holidays
4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Mid-Peak:
Summer weekdays except holidays
12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Winter weekdays except holidays
6 a.m. - 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Off-Peak: All other hours
Holidays are:
- New Year's Day
- Presidents' Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas
When any holiday listed above falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be recognized as an off-peak period. No change in off-peak hours shall be made for holidays falling on Saturday.
The summer season shall commence at 12 a.m. on June 1 and continue until 12 a.m. on October 1 in each year. The winter season shall commence at 12 a.m. on October 1 of each year and continue until 12 a.m. on June 1 of the following year.

When determining the renewable premium in instances where a range of prices is reported, the high end of the range will be used in the calculation.
