  • AOP = Average SP 15 GHP + Average Premium for Delivered Renewable Energy Reported to DOE by WECC[1] + CAISO High Voltage Access Charge

Time periods are defined as follows:
  • On-Peak:
    Summer weekdays, except holidays
    1-5 p.m.
  • Mid-Peak:
    Summer weekdays except holidays
    8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5-10 p.m.
    Winter weekdays except holidays
    7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Off-Peak: All other hours
Holidays are:
  • New Year's Day
  • Washington's Birthday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas
When any holiday listed above falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be recognized as an off-peak period. No change in off-peak hours shall be made for holidays falling on Saturday.

The summer season shall commence at 12 a.m. on June 1 and continue until 12 a.m. on October 1 in each year. The winter season shall commence at 12 a.m. on October 1 of each year and continue until 12 a.m. on June 1 of the following year.

When determining the renewable premium in instances where a range of prices is reported, the high end of the range will be used in the calculation.
