Anaheim residents can receive $50 from Anaheim Public Utilities for recycling their old spare refrigerator or freezer. Did you know that in many households the refrigerator is the biggest energy-consuming appliance? By recycling it, not only will you receive $50, but you will also lower your utility bill. We safely dispose of all harmful refrigerants, and 98% of the appliance gets reused and recycled.
Please note that customers are only eligible to participate in this program once per residence address. Customers may be eligible to re-apply after five (5) years if they have another old spare refrigerator or freezer to recycle.
