Canyon Fire 2 burning near Anaheim hills

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2017) — Firefighters are working a brush fire burning near the Anaheim hills area that started at about 9:40 a.m. 

The fire has grown to more than 500 acres, with more than 200 firefighters on scene. 

Mandatory evacuations are in effect. There are at least 1000 homes evacuated as of 12:40 p.m.

For your safety, you will not be allowed in the area.
