OverDrive's Digital Book Club


Inspired by Pride and Prejudice, author Lacy Williams has introduced a new dual love story with a Wild West twist. Cowboy Pride has been selected for the next Big Library Read. From July 9-23, Anaheim Public Library users will be able to borrow the eBook format of the title with no wait lists or holds. Readers can take part in the two-week program by visiting or by downloading the Libby app. Big Library Read is facilitated by OverDrive, the leading platform for eBooks and audiobooks from the library.

OverDrive is providing a generous giveaway for two Shakira concert tickets at the Honda Center (Aug 31) for one lucky winner!⠀⠀⠀

To enter:

1. Must be following Anaheim Library on Instagram.

2. Tag a friend in our OverDrive posts and tell us why you love Anaheim Library in the comments below.

3. Take a picture reading from our OverDrive collection and tag @AnaheimLibrary and #OverDrive.

On Monday, July 30th one winner will be picked at random and will be privately messaged on Instagram to pick up the tickets at Anaheim Central Library.

This is open to Anaheim Residents only and entrants must be 18 or older.

Big Library Read is an international reading program that connects millions of readers around the world simultaneously with an eBook through the library. Readers can join an online discussion about the book at The free program runs for two weeks and to get started reading, all that's needed is an Anaheim Library card. Cowboy Pride can be read on all major devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phones and tablets, Chromebook™ and Kindle® [U.S. libraries only], without worry about wait lists or holds. The title will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and there are no late fees.
