ANAHEIM, CA - (June 18, 2015) - For the first time in 30 years safe and sane fireworks are back in Anaheim.  As voted by residents in last year’s June General Election, the Anaheim community can Celebrate With Care in select areas of the City.  Residents are asked to read guidelines below, to ensure Anaheim can enjoy celebrating the Fourth of July in the safest manner possible.

“It is important that we honor America, but to do so safely,” said Anaheim Fire & Rescue Chief Randy Bruegman. “When we Celebrate with Care, we are ensuring all residents and visitors can enjoy fireworks, but in a manner that is safe for everyone.  Fireworks are time-honored tradition, but when illegal or discharged illegally they can pose a serious threat to life and property.  Let’s all remember to do our part and celebrate this Fourth of July with care.”

As voted by residents in last year’s June General Election and adopted as an ordinance by our City Council, our neighborhoods can Celebrate With Care in select areas of Anaheim.
