Tracking coronavirus: A different Easter and Passover celebration

ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 10, 2020) — Anaheim wishes everyone a happy Easter and joyous Passover.

We know things are really different this year.

Even so, we hope you have a great time with loved ones this weekend, celebrating in a way that works for you.

In a normal year, our parks would be places of celebration. But this isn’t a normal year.

California’s stay at home order, and the Easter spirit of loving our neighbors, means we can’t have gatherings in parks this year.

You’ll see our park parking lots closed this weekend.

Our park green spaces and walking areas remain open for immediate families and households to take walks and to get fresh air.

But save the Easter egg hunts for home, and if the weather’s good, have a special meal in your backyard or courtyard with immediate family.

You’ll see our friendly park rangers in our parks this weekend. As always, they’ll be sharing what’s expected of everyone and what we all need to be doing in this unique time.

Thank you for doing your part.
