Parks play an important role in the lives of Anaheim residents.
For many, they are the front yard for neighborhood kids to play in and the perfect setting for a weekend family gathering.
Anaheim's first park opened in 1927 with 20 acres. Since then, 56 parks spanning nearly 800 acres have been added throughout the city.
That's a lot of park space to keep up with! So we felt it was time to take a comprehensive look at all of our parks to see what we can do differently and how we can improve them. The Anaheim Parks Plan is a summary of what we found, what we heard from more than 7,000 survey responses, and where we plan to go from here.
We invite you to take a look at the plan here and share your feedback with us.
