ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2016) - The city of Anaheim is alerting its residents of temporary road closures this weekend, Jan. 15-17, for the annual Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend hosted by runDisney. Thousands of guests will converge upon Anaheim from nearby cities, other states and countries, and even from a galaxy far, far away.

Each year, runDisney hosts four half marathon race weekends in Anaheim, each offering a different course route throughout the city. In addition to this weekend's Star Wars Half Marathon, the Disneyland Resort is the start and finish lines for the 2016 Tinker Bell Half Marathon (May 5-8), Disneyland Half Marathon (Sept. 1-4) and the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon (Nov. 10-13) weekends. The Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend also includes a health and fitness expo open to the public, featuring merchandise products, apparel and guest speakers at the Disneyland Hotel.
