ANAHEIM, CA – (FEBRUARY 9, 2017), Investigators from Anaheim Fire & Rescue have conclusively determined last Saturday’s fire at the historic Anaheim White House restaurant was accidental in nature and caused by an electrical problem.

The blaze was reported around 4:18 am on Saturday and caused more than $1 million in damages to the structure and the contents. The building was built in 1909. Nearly 60 firefighters from Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fullerton, and Orange City Fire Department had the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes, but they continued fighting hot spots for several more hours.

Insurance investigators have concurred regarding the cause of the fire.
