At 11:58 p.m. on April 16, an unsubstantiated email was sent to all Administration at Canyon High School targeting the student-body.  Anaheim Police Department responded quickly to investigate and determined the threats were not credible.  All students and faculty are safe.  Nobody was evacuated and the school was not placed on lockdown.  As a precautionary measure, the Anaheim Police Department will continue to have a presence on and around the campus for the remainder of the day.

The sender was detained and questioned and it was determined that the email came from someone else other than the sender listed on the original email.  The true origin and intent of the email continues to be under investigation by the Anaheim Police Department.
