Remember, Monday is a holiday so most city facilities will be closed. The forecast for Labor Day is hot but about 10 degrees cooler than the heat wave’s peak on Friday.

Keep yourself healthy during the heat by staying hydrated and limiting outdoor activities. Remember to check on family, neighbors, friends and pets who may be at risk.

And never leave infants, kids or pets in a parked car, even if the windows are open.
