Anaheim's Fall Season Youth Soccer and Cheerleading Registration Open
ANAHEIM, CA - (August 19, 2009) - The City of Anaheim’s Fall Youth Soccer and Cheerleading season is here, and adults can register their boys and girls between the ages of 4-13 for sessions of outdoor fun and recreation.

The Fall soccer and cheerleading season runs through November 14.  Practices will begin the week of September 14 and will be held once per week for one hour.  Games are scheduled to be played on Saturdays, beginning October 3 between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.  The youth sports program encourages physical fitness, making friends and having fun.  All participants will learn fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork from trained staff and volunteer coaches.  The price of participation per child is $82, which includes instruction, a t-shirt and an individual award. 

Anaheim Community Services Youth Programs serve more than 5,000 youth each year.  Programs include Anaheim Youth Sports, Camp Venture Day Camp, Art in the Park, Artmobile and Fun on Wheels mobile vehicle programs.  Recreation staff members are well trained in youth development and serve as ideal mentors and supervisors for youth in the community.
