Anaheim Temporary Street closures for Sunday, Sept. 6 for Disneyland’s Half Marathon
ANAHEIM, CA - (September 3, 2009) - The City of Anaheim would like to inform its residents, businesses and visitors of temporary road closures on Sunday, Sept. 6, for The Disneyland® Half Marathon, which is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. and end at approximately 10 a.m.  The course will take runners through Disney's California Adventure® Park to Disneyland® Park, then onto the streets of Anaheim, past the Honda Center, along the Santa Ana Trail, through Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and back through Disney's California Adventure® Park and the Downtown Disney® District.

On the morning of the marathon, please note the following road closures and times:

Disneyland Drive – between Ball Road and Paradise Way 00:01 to 08:00
Magic Way – between Disneyland Hotel Place an d Disneyland Drive 00:01 to 10:15
Katella Ave. – westbound from Disneyland Drive to Harbor Blvd. 05:00 to 07:00
Harbor Blvd – southbound from Katella Ave. to Disney Way 05:00 to 07:00
Disneyland Drive – between Katella Ave. and Paradise Way 03:30 to 06:45
Disney Way – westbound from Anaheim Blvd. to Harbor Blvd. 05:30 to 10:00
Ball Road – eastbound from Disneyland Drive to Anaheim Blvd. 05:15 to 08:10
Anaheim Blvd. – between Ball Road to Cerritos Ave. 05:30 to 08:15
Cerritos Ave – between Anaheim Blvd. and Lewis St. 05:30 to 08:15
Lewis St. – between Ball Road and Cerritos Ave. 05:30 to 08:1 5
Ball Road – between Lewis St. and State College Blvd. 05:30 to 08:30
State College Blvd – between Ball Road and Cerritos Ave. 05:30 to 08:30

I-5 Northbound – on/off ramp at Katella Ave. 06:00 to 10:00
I-5 Northbound – on/off ramp at Gene Autry Way 06:00 to 10:00
I-5 Southbound – on/off ramp at Harbor Blvd. 06:00 to 10:00
I-5 Southbound – on /off ramp at Disney Way 06:00 to 10:00
