| Anaheim City Libraries Open “Read and Recycle!” Book Donation Campaign | ||||||||||||

ANAHEIM, CA - (March 15, 2010) - The Anaheim Public Library has announced the start of a new donation campaign - Read & Recycle! The public is invited to participate by donating a new, popular book to the Anaheim Public Library, and in return, donors will receive a free colorful tote bag.
Local librarians and library staff members can suggest needed book titles. The books should be published within the last year, or be recent bestsellers. Donating a new book is a great way to support neighborhood libraries, and each donation is tax deductible. The Anaheim Public Library has been serving the community since 1902. Its first location consisted of a few book shelves in the back of Cornelius Bruce’s Candy Store. Today, the City proudly offers seven library learning and activity centers throughout the City, in addition to the Book Mobile program. The tote bags are sponsored by the Anaheim Public Works department , and are available while supplies last (one per person please).
