ANAHEIM, CA - (May 11, 2010) -
WHAT: WHEN/WHERE: In addition, the students will be recognized at that evening’s City Council meeting, taking place at 5 p.m. at City Hall (200 S. Anaheim Blvd.). WHO/COMPETITION JUDGES: ABOUT THE MAYOR’S TECHSCHOLAR PROGRAM: College-bound high school students in their sophomore or junior years attending a public or private high school and residing in Anaheim were eligible to apply. This year’s essay question embraced technology by challenging the students to describe an app idea (mobile or Web-based) that will make Anaheim an even better place. The Mayor’s TechScholar program is sponsored this year by Time Warner, AT&T, Anaheim Public Utilities, HP, the Samueli Foundation, and Pricon.
