| Transportation and Event Schedule Reminders for All-Star Week in Anaheim | ||||||||||||

ANAHEIM, CA - (July 12, 2010) - Major League Baseball’s All-Star Week in Anaheim continues to draw record crowds. The City of Anaheim would like to remind residents, businesses and guests of anticipated heavy traffic flow near the Anaheim Convention Center, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and surrounding areas for Monday and Tuesday (July 12-13).
While Anaheim is accustomed to accommodating large gatherings, carpooling and planning for additional vehicle traffic is encouraged. Please keep in mind many of the events associated with All-Star Week coincide with a normal work week and associated commuting hours. Monday, July 12:

Several local transportation options are available to guests. The Orange County Transportation Authority is altering its bus route schedule in the Anaheim Resort area to accommodate guests, residents and businesses. Metrolink is running extra train service in coordination with stadium events. Anaheim Resort Transit will be available to shuttle guests in and around the Resort area. In addition, local cab companies can assist guests with their transportation needs. All-Star Week concludes Tuesday, July 13. For more information please visit www.anaheim.net.
