"Anaheim is primed and ready to host a professional basketball team," said Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait. "We understand that the relocation committee is balancing a variety of issues as they make this decision and have decided to take a little more time.  We remain hopeful and optimistic that the NBA will have a franchise playing at Anaheim’s Honda Center in the near future."

Anaheim is proud of the many sports, convention, and entertainment opportunities available to residents, businesses and guests.
Sports:  the NHL Anaheim Ducks; MLB’s Angels Baseball; the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Volleyball Teams (Olympic Gold and Silver Medalists); the Professional Arena Soccer League Anaheim Bolts.  In 2010, Anaheim and Angels Baseball co-hosted a very successful MLB All-Star Game and related festivities.
Convention:  The LEED-certified Anaheim Convention Center is the largest convention center on the west coast and host to NAMM, Anaheim Comic Con, Disney’s D23, BlizzCon, and the 76 Classic basketball tournament presented by ESPN.
