| Anaheim Fall Festival And Halloween Spooktacular Parade To Take Place On Saturday, Oct. 29 | ||||||||||||
|
ANAHEIM, CA - (October 27, 2011) - Anaheim’s traditional Fall Festival and Halloween Spooktacular Parade will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29, featuring activities for the entire family. The Festival, a 75-year tradition in Anaheim, will take place at Center Street Promenade in Downtown Anaheim from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Residents and visitors are invited to participate in the free events.
The Fall Festival’s activities will include a costume contest, trick-or-treating, food, games, crafts, a pumpkin patch and the traditional Anaheim Halloween Spooktacular Parade.
The Spooktacular Parade will feature a real Disney Villain. This year’s Grand Marshal is the always fashionable, totally rotten Cruella De Vil of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians.” Don’t worry; this dastardly female dognapper won’t have a chance to purloin your puppies. She’ll be too busy hogging the attention (she adores the ‘spotlight’) as she appears with Disney Ambassador Jolie Hales of the Disneyland Resort.
The Spooktacular Parade will also include marching bands, antique cars, and colorful floats. Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait and Councilmembers Harry Sidhu, Lorri Galloway, Gail Eastman and Kris Murray, as well as other special guests, will participate in the Parade. Mayor Tait will be on hand to greet Festival and Parade attendees and to encourage participation in the City’s Hi Neighbor initiative.
