Anaheim Public Library Gives Residents An E-Reader Test Drive At The Traveling “Tech Tool Bar”
ANAHEIM, CA - (July 25, 2013) - Beginning today, Anaheim Public Library is pleased to offer a traveling “Tech Tool Bar” at three library branch locations, giving customers the opportunity to touch, test and compare various eReaders. The events are funded by the Friends of the Canyon Hills Library and Friends of the Anaheim Public Library. Tech-savvy volunteers and library staff will be on hand to assist, answer questions and get you started downloading and reading or listening to the OverDrive digital collection which is available free to library cardholders.

Products including the Kindle Paper White, Kindle Fire, Nook HD+, Google Nexus, Samsung Galaxy, Apple iPad mini will be available to try, or bring your own eReader if you would like assistance in downloading the Library’s e-books. Open-house type sessions are available the following dates and times, with future workshops to be scheduled:

Thurs., July 25, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Haskett Branch, 2650 W. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92804

Wed., July 31, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Sunkist Branch, 901 S. Sunkist St., Anaheim, CA 92806

Thurs. Aug. 1, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Canyon Hills Branch, 400 S. Scout Trail, Anaheim, CA 92807
