|ARTIC PROJECT REQUESTS PROPOSALS FOR INNOVATIVE ADVERTISING PROGRAM|
ANAHEIM, CA - (February 14, 2014) - Today the City of Anaheim released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an innovative advertising program for both indoor and outdoor advertising services at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) venue, which will open late this year. The City is seeking a firm to create a robust advertising program to build a mix of advertising structures and displays on the ARTIC site to enhance the dynamic atmosphere and sense of place, as well as to maximize revenue opportunities and complement the building's architectural design and adjacent properties.
Located in a prime location in Orange County between the Honda Center and Angel Stadium of Anaheim, ARTIC's innovative LEED-Platinum designed and operated facility will be seen by more than 265,000 commuters daily. ARTIC's iconic structure and state-of-the-art amenities will increase the energy and excitement currently experienced by more than 5.5 million sports fans and concert and entertainment attendees who visit the world-class venues each year. Additionally, the Anaheim Resort, which is two miles west on Katella Ave., draws 20 million guests to Anaheim each year.
Orange County is the fifth most densely populated county in the nation, so taking cars off the road and offering public transportation benefits everyone. ARTIC, near the 57, 5, 22 and 91 freeways and adjacent to the Santa Ana River Trail, will open to accommodate 10,000 riders daily and offer 10 modes of transportation. Amenities include transit oriented retail, dining establishments, Wi-Fi and plug in stations, plenty of parking, bike racks and lockers, and more, as well community space for the public to enjoy. ARTIC will truly be a destination for all to use and the expanded public transportation options will benefit all commuters.
ARTIC is also Buy America Compliant, meaning the materials for the building are proudly manufactured in the United States.
Complete details of the RFP can be found HERE. A pre-submittal workshop will be held on Tues., Mar. 11 at 2 p.m. at the City of Anaheim Gordon Hoyt Conference Room (201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805). For more information and to RSVP to the workshop, please email ArticAD@anaheim.net.
