The building blocks for healthy childhood development. (Target audience - parents, teachers, anyone involved in a child's life) - This workshop looks into essential building blocks for a child's healthy development, from mentoring to encouraging children to be more involved in healthy activities. The audience will examine 40 essential building blocks to healthy child development and understand the vastly different outcomes that can occur when children have over 30 assets in their life versus having less than 15. Participants will be encouraged to take an inventory of the building blocks their children currently have, and will walk away with new strategies to become asset builders in their children's lives.
