    Fun on Wheels Mobile Recreation Program is a free drop- in program designed to bring recreation and other resources into the neighborhoods for children, ages 5-18. The program offers homework assistance, fitness fun, art enrichment, and resource materials. No registration is needed! All programs are closed on holidays and days of inclement weather. Children are encouraged to remain at the program location, but are free to come and go at any time. The staff are not responsible for children who choose to leave the program location.

  3. Embracing Change at Euclid

    A Look into Healthy Transitions - How your mindset can promote growth through change and adversity. target audience - Students, parents of students, anyone going through major life events. This workshop compares two different mindsets when it comes to transitions in life: fixed mindset vs. growth mindset. Participants will learn the difference between these two mindsets, and will understand the benefits of training your brain to shift toward a growth perspective when facing change. Participants will examine past changes and identify successes and barriers in how they were able to cope with these transitions. Participants will be encouraged to shift their thinking, viewing change as an opportunity for growth rather than something to be feared. Parents, students, and anyone going through a change in life would benefit from learning about shifting toward a growth mindset.

    Participants will examine common causes and patterns of conflict, and learn healthy ways to communicate with others who have differing points of view. Participants will learn when and how to approach conflict, and learn when to take a break. The audience will also practice using "I" statements to help facilitate effective communication and increase the likelihood that both parties walk away feeling heard. Parents, teachers, teens, couples, and anyone interested in resolving differences would benefit from attending this workshop.

  5. ROAR: A Storytelling Event at Central

    We invite you to join the Anaheim Central Library for our storytelling event, ROAR. This months theme is Discovery.
    Roar is a monthly open mic hang out, varying in different themes from honest hearts. At each gathering, those who are interested in sharing will write their names on a piece of paper and we will pull out 4 - 6 names throughout the evening; those lucky few will get tell their tale. We want to create an open mic space for storytellers, comedians, poets, actors and writers to share their style, words and experiences in comfortable, cozy, judgment free space. Come to share or just come to sit and listen to the community around.
