Dia de los Muertos mask making workshop on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Awards & Closing: Sunday, October 28 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm Commemorative items for sale in the gift shop. El Dia de Los Muertos, (The Day of the Dead) is all about Family, Love, Respect Tradition and Remembering those who have passed before us—keeping their stories and memories alive to pass on from generation to generation. This important cultural tradition has been celebrated for over 3000 years in Mexico, Central and South America and is a joyful celebration of life. The Muzeo is proud to host this customary tradition and we invite you to come honor the souls of the departed. A Community Table is setup where visitors can leave mementos of their loved one(s) and authentic ofrendas decorated by local artist with photos, candles, flowers, beads, and other memorial objects for visitors to enjoy.

The program offers homework assistance, fitness fun, art enrichment, and resource materials. No registration is needed! All programs are closed on holidays and days of inclement weather. Children are encouraged to remain at the program location, but are free to come and go at any time. The staff are not responsible for children who choose to leave the program location.
