  1. S.T.A.R.S (Study-Time, Arts, Recreation, and Sports) - Brookhurst Park

    S.T.A.R.S (Study-Time, Arts, Recreation, and Sports) is offered at 10 sites throughout Anaheim. This free, drop-in program will offer children, ages 5-16, academic support, art enrichment, sports, and recreation opportunities. S.T.A.R.S is a year around program offered Monday through Friday, from the time students are released from school until 6:00 p.m. Times will vary based on location and individual school schedules. Come out and see us!

    Join authors Dr. Marjorie Miles and Lillian Nader, M. Ed for an interactive two-hour seminar filled with action steps for finding writing inspiration and motivation from your daydreams and night dreams. Based on the theories of Carl Jung, Stephen King, and years of dream work and study, Marjorie and Lillian invite you to discover the power of the dreaming mind. You will learn strategies for dream recall, how to unlock the secret messages in dreams, as well as be introduced to famous books and stories based on dreams. You will experience inspirational guided imagery to spark creativity in your writing as well as lively discussion and participation in creative dreamwork activities. Please bring writing paper, pen, and the desire to learn more about the power of your dreams. Note: The authors will sell and sign copies of their books at the event.
