  1. Public Review Board Applications Now Open

    We’re looking for help shaping the future of community policing in Anaheim. The city is seeking applicants to serve on our new Police Review Board, which is set to convene in the spring. The review board is a new, expanded version of the Public Safety Board, which launched in 2014 as a two-year pilot program for civilian police oversight in Anaheim. The Police Review Board brings expanded civilian oversight to Anaheim, to learn more visit www.anaheim.net/PRB. Applications due by Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5pm.

  2. Chief's Neighborhood Advisory Council

    Help us find Anaheim’s next chief Next chief join Anaheim is searching for a new police chief, and you can take part. We’re holding meetings to hear what residents would like to see in our next chief. You can join the conversation at upcoming community meetings, including with our advisory councils to Anaheim’s police chief: the Chief’s Advisory Board and the Chief’s Neighborhood Advisory Council. The Chief’s Advisory Board is made up of members offering input on issues impacting quality of life in Anaheim, while the Chief’s Neighborhood Advisory Council is made up of dedicated residents working with the chief to improve neighborhoods. The next chief will be the 34th in the Anaheim Police Department’s 148-year history. The police chief oversees a department of 600 employees, including 400 officers and other sworn personnel working to keep our community safe. We expect to fill the chief position later this year.

  1. Coffee with a Cop - Central District

    This is a great opportunity for residents to talk and get to know Anaheim Police Officers in a casual setting where all questions, concerns and comments are welcome. Meetings are typically held at various locations throughout the City and give residents an opportunity to build a relationship with officers that work, and have knowledge of what goes on, in the area. Your participation is very important as we work together to make our neighborhoods safe and crime free.
