You are invited to participate in a free Community Archives Clinic led by UCI Libraries and the California Digital Library.
Organization leaders and activists in the Orange County region are welcome to attend this hands-on, interactive event to explore ways to preserve and make accessible the often hidden histories of our area and its diverse communities. At the clinic you will:
-Learn about preserving and digitizing your organization’s records
- Have an opportunity to scan your materials
- Contribute to building a community-centered digital archive
- Explore community/academic partnerships
- One-on-one consultations with archivists/curators will be available!
During the event, you will also have an opportunity to talk about your organization and share your experiences with preserving your history. No previous experience is required. Lunch will be provided.
