Anaheim Police Seek Public’s Help in Indentifying Good Samaritan and Witnesses
ANAHEIM, CA - (August 19, 2013) - On Tuesday, July 30, 2013 around 2:10PM, a 39 year-old handicapped female had her purse stolen while she was traveling in her wheelchair. The victim was traveling north on Acacia St. under the SR-91 freeway overpass. She observed a male suspect approach her from behind and take her purse from her lap. She screamed for help and a passerby, a man in a white pick-up truck, gave chase to the suspect. A few moments later, the man in the pick-up truck returned to the victim and gave her back her purse.

Anaheim Police Robbery Detectives are attempting to locate any witnesses and to identify this Good Samaritan to further the investigation and recognize him for his efforts.

The Good Samaritan was described as follows:
Caucasian male, 50 years-old, gray hair and gray mustache. He was driving a white pick-up truck.

The suspect is described as follows:
African American male, 22 years-old, thin build.
