West Anaheim Youth Center
The West Anaheim Youth Center is a community center in the heart of west Anaheim. It features a 10,382-square-foot gymnasium with a full-size basketball court, six half courts, two volleyball courts and bleacher seating for 675 people. The center also includes a community meeting room, a dance and fitness room, computer room with 15 internet computers, two youth activity rooms and two rooms for teen programs. Mission Statement:

"To Provide the highest quality recreation, human, and neighborhood  services to Anaheim residents and visitors of all ages, abilities, and economic levels, and to enable residents to assist themselves in improving the livability of their neighborhoods within available resources.

Membership

Membership is free for youth ages 5 to 17. Those 5 years of age must attend kindergarten to participate. A parent or legal guardian must complete a membership form for each child. Membership forms may be obtained at the Youth Center's front counter.

Kid's Snack Program

The West Anaheim Youth Center serves free, nutritious snacks to our guests once daily during the afternoon program. We are committed to the healthy development of young people and promote physical activity and healthy eating.

Facility Rental

Our gymnasium and activity rooms are available for rental by members of the community, schools, and businesses. Please contact the Youth Center Director at (714) 765-6402 for rates and availability.

Project S.A.Y. Teen Program

The Project S.A.Y., also known as Support Anaheim's Youth, is open to junior high and high school youth, ages 13-17. The teen center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3- 7 p.m.
Teen activities include: Leadership activities, drop-in sports, homework help, computer lab, fitness programs, development workshops, tutoring and youth excursions.
