Dr. Frank Donavan is the Superintendent of the Magnolia School District. Dr. Donavan has a broad range of experience that includes being a classroom Teacher, School Site Administrator, and District Office Administrator. Dr. Donavan’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University, A Master of Science in Education Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC. Dr. Donavan is well respected at the District, County, State, and National level for his collaborative and innovative leadership. He was appointed by State Superintendent Torlakson to the AB 250 Committee, which included a year-long process of developing recommendations for all new assessments in California.
