OCVibe, stylized as ocV!BE,is a proposal to create a 95-acre master planned campus around Honda Center with shopping, dining, sports, entertainment, open space, apartments, offices and more.
The proposal would bring the kind of excitement and experiences seen around arenas and stadiums in San Diego, Sacramento, Los Angeles and other cities while also being uniquely Anaheim.
OCVibe falls under of Anaheim’s planning for the Platinum Triangle ― the area around Honda Center, Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the ARTIC transit center. Our planning for the area calls for a modern urban village built around sports and entertainment for our residents and all of Orange County to enjoy.
Development in the Platinum Triangle would bring added revenue for city services and new entertainment, shopping, dining, workplaces and parks and open space for Anaheim residents.
The project, proposed and financed by the owners of the Anaheim Ducks and operators of Honda Center with no city funding, was approved by the Anaheim Planning Commission on Aug. 29, 2022. It is goes before the City Council on Sept. 27, 2022, and again for a second hearing on Oct. 4, 2022, if necessary.
