Underground Conversion - Santa Ana Canyon/Royal Oak

The overhead electrical and telecommunication facilities for the Royal Oak segment have been placed underground. The City’s portion of the undergrounding on Santa Ana Canyon Road, between Lakeview Avenue and Imperial Highway, is complete and poles have been topped down to telecommunication level. Final street paving and striping has been completed. Affected telecommunication companies are currently working to underground their overhead lines along Santa Ana Canyon Road, which is scheduled to be complete by Winter 2024.
