Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Anaheim CERT promotes the ongoing training and participation of our volunteer force by providing many educational opportunities to better prepare for and respond to disasters. CERT certified volunteers with the City of Anaheim fall under 3 different levels of training to prepare volunteers to respond in a variety of areas during a disaster situation. RACES
The Anaheim Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) program, sponsored by Anaheim Fire & Rescue’s Emergency Management and Preparedness Section. RACES is an emergency management volunteer program that utilizes state of the art ham radio technology to provide vital communications support during emergency incidents and routine events and activities.
