Weatherization and Home Efficiency Upgrade Program

Anaheim Public Utilities partners with the Southern California Gas Company, to assist income-qualified renters and homeowners in making their homes more water-energy efficient and comfortable*. Synergy Companies, the authorized contractor for this program, offers no-cost home repairs, replaces inefficient appliances, and installs other measures as needed to help customers reduce their utility bills.

Qualifying Income Levels 

*Low-Income Limits as defined by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (adjusted annually).

*Eligibility of measures marked with an asterisk (*) is dependent on being a Southern California Gas Company (SoCal Gas) customer and meeting income criteria established through SoCal Gas's Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESAP). Please visit SoCal Gas to apply.

Note: Renters need written permission from property owners to receive program services. Eligibility of measures is based on income levels and is subject to approval. Repair or replacement services may be unavailable to eligible homeowners when existing natural gas units are deemed inoperable or hazardous.

*Program participation is limited to once every 5 years. Subject to available funding.
