VIRTUAL: Book to Action -- Challenged to be the Opposite of Racist: A Community Conversation

Wednesday, April 28, 2021

In the midst of today’s current social climate, many of us are feeling hopeless and disillusioned. However, Dr. King’s vision of a “beloved community” is more than a dream. It can be our reality. Facilitated by diversity, equity and inclusion consultant, Dr. Francine L. Oputa, this event will provide a “brave space” for us to explore the concepts of racism and social justice with openness and compassion. We will also explore, “what it means to be an ally”. Participants will leave will tools practical tools to support them as they play their part in creating the beloved community.
