Anaheim History Speaker Series: Anaheim Halloween Festival: The Greatest Night Pageant West of the Mardi Gras (All ages) at Central
Wednesday, October 27, 2021
Once called the biggest Halloween celebration west of the Mississippi, the Anaheim Halloween Festival began in 1924 and grew to capacity crowds of more than 150,000 people. This presentation by Stephanie George, local historian and curator at the Orange County Historical Society, will conjure up the sprites, hobgoblins, and broom-toting witches of the past. We promise—you’ll be spell-bound in discovering this Festival’s spooky secrets. Eek! .
