ANAHEIM, Calif. (Nov. 9, 2022) — Free healthcare was provided to 500 people Saturday with another 500 expected Sunday at the Anaheim Convention Center.

 

People and families took part in eye exams with glasses made on the spot, fillings, extractions and other dental care, hearing tests, mammograms and other women’s care, mental health consultations, acupuncture and more.


The same services are available Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can register at Anaheim.net/healthfair or just walk in.

 

Everything is entirely free with no worries about insurance, copayments, extensive paperwork or immigration status.


For many without insurance or in need, the Anaheim Health Fair might be the only time they see a doctor or dentist all year.

 

A range of primary services are available, all at no cost, including:

  •  Physicals, electrocardiograms and hearing tests
  •  Diabetes, cholesterol and other blood testing
  •  Mammograms and pap smears
  •  Dental fillings and extractions
  •  Eye exams and prescription glasses made onsite
  •  Flu shots and vaccines
  • Mental health consultations

The event takes place in Hall E of the Anaheim Convention Center with free parking accessible off West Street south of Katella Avenue.


Parking is free and easy.
