Elegant theater ceremony features stirring remarks, tributes to honored heroes, first responder pageantry, kids giving back with community service

- WHERE: City National Grove of Anaheim,
2200 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim
- WHAT: Inspiring ceremony featuring Anaheim Fire & Rescue Chief Randy Bruegman, Anaheim Police Chief Raul Quezada and Mayor Tom Tait; a tribute to heroic first responders; onsite volunteer fair hosted by OneOC with nearly 40 nonprofits
- WHY: To remember those who lost and gave their lives on 9/11 and to inspire community service
- VISUAL: Elegant theater setting with concert choir and soloist; presentation of colors, laying of wreath by joint police and fire honor guard; stationed fire trucks bearing an oversized U.S. flag; 60 patriotic motorcycle riders; teens and all ages doing community service
- COST: Free
- PARKING: Ample free surface parking onsite
- SECURITY: All attendees, including media, subject to screening
