Library Children's Programs

  1. VIRTUAL: Kelly Yang Author Event

    May 21, 2021, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ This program is virtual and will stream on the Library's Facebook and YouTube.

    Children’s book author Kelly Yang shares her memories of growing up in Anaheim that lead to her award-winning book Front Desk; a timely, hopeful middle-grade novel with a contemporary Chinese twist. This novel takes inspiration from Kelly’s life story, as her family immigrated to the United States from China when she was a young girl and managed a motel in California. This author event is suitable for ages 7 and up. This program is in partnership with Anaheim Public Library, Altrusa International of Anaheim and the Anaheim Elementary School District for the Creative Writing Project.
